The US Supreme Court has allowed a Christian photographer to refuse services to same-sex weddings due to their religious beliefs.

The court declined to hear the case of a Christian photographer in New Mexico who refused to photograph a same-sex wedding.

The photographer argued that being forced to capture the wedding violated their First Amendment rights of free speech and free exercise of religion.

A lower court ruling was overturned, stating that the photographer's refusal to work at same-sex weddings was protected by the First Amendment.

The Supreme Court's decision reaffirms the right of individuals to act in accordance with their religious beliefs.
